Florida Must Haves
I am super excited to be heading down to Florida to celebrate the big 3-5 with my best friends next weekend. A little fun in sun, cocktails and relaxation is exactly what this mama needs! We are coming from all over the country (3 in the DC area, 1 in Texas and 1 in New Mexico), so we were trying to find the right spot to gather that was easily accessible for all 5 of us. We wanted sunshine, warmth and adults only - we chose the Pelican Grand Beach Resort
As most moms can sympathize with after having a baby and wanting to completely throw all of their clothes away and starting from scratch - that’s where I am at. And since having Rowan, definitely my final babe, I have been trying to add some pieces to the wardrobe. Packing for one person is a nice change of pace for me too! I am sharing some things that have been in my closet and others that I snagged for the trip at various price points (ok and maybe one item I’ve been dreaming of).
Most of our plans include pool, beach, rose, pool, beach, rose - repeat. But we are planning on a nice sunset cruise and dinner out on the town one night so looking forward to mixing in my new favorite zara dress with bathing suits and pool attire and that cover up. Mama can’t wait!
