Holiday Decor: I Wish I Had

We got into the Christmas spirit this weekend with picking out our tree and starting to decorate the house (still have a bit more to do, but it's coming along). I am a strict no Christmas until after Thanksgiving in our house.

I don't life to rush the holidays, and i want our family to really be the moment for each of them, especially since I thin that Thanksgiving really can be an awesome day, if you really lean in.

This year, we won't be home for Christmas, we will be with family in Ny. So, I chose to keep things simple in our decor. Every year I add two (ish) things to the mix, one is usually a nutcracker for my personal collection. And the second is that each kid gets an ornament. As you can imagine, not adding a lot to my inventory is very difficult for me, but I did round up a few items that I absolutely love and would have loved to have for decorating next year -will I be able to resist is the better question.
