I am not a chocolate lover. I know blasphemy! But when I was pregnant with Cannon I wanted all of the chocolate. Literally ate bags of M&Ms in one sitting. So now I do enjoy a good chocolate snack from time to time. These two are quick and easy chocolate snacks that everyone (even little man) enjoy!

Chocolate Cereal Bites: 

(This one is borrowed from my friends at Relish Catering)

Ingredients: 

1/2 cup Almonds slices

1/2 cup Frosted Flakes

2 cups Dark Chocolate Chips (or whichever chips you prefer)

  • Melt chocolate until smooth. Recommended on medium to low on stove top.

  • Slowly add in Almonds and Frosted Flakes and stir to desire ratio on stove top.

  • Remove from pot to plate to cool.

Dried Fruit Chocolate Bar: 

Ingredients: 

1/4 cup Dried Fruit

1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt

2 cups Dark Chocolate Chips (or whichever chips you prefer)

Parchment paper 

Large cutting board

  • Lay sheet of parchment paper over the cutting board.

  • Melt chocolate until smooth. Recommended on medium to low on stove top.

  • Pour and spread the chocolate over the parchment paper until thin and smooth.

  • Sprinkle dried fruit and sea salt to taste.

  • Set in freezer to Harden (about 2 hours).
