Trader Joes Fun Fall Meals
I think everyone can agree that Trader Joes consistently has the most fun seasonal food options that get everyone excited. Lately, I have decided to start hitting the grocery store instead of ordering my groceries, and it has been so fun to browse the isles again (like pre covid times) - especially now that seasonal goodies are out. Trader Joes is like a candy shop for adults- so many tasty things to choose from and try. This month, I ran out to find my top picks for fall, seasonal bites that are easy for a busy mother like me. And, we taste tested all of them around here and it was a resounding A+ for all of them!
The picks range from quick bites and apps to full or partial meal options. I made Sweet Potato Gnocchi, a Turkey Pot Pie, Brussel Sprouts, Butternut Squash Mac n Cheese Bites, and Apple Tart for dessert. The Sweet Potato gnocchi is actual a go-to year round in our house. It’s a delicious side with a good chicken dish. But everything else was new to me, and like I said, they all passed the test. I’m not a perfect chef, and I do love to cook, but there isn’t always enough time for something from scratch.
I obviously burnt these Butternut Squash Mac n Cheese Bites, but they were still delicious, even passed the Cannon test! They are a sweeter option to the regular TJ’s bites.
Patrick is a big fan of Chicken Pot Pie, so the Turkey Pot Pie was a fun twist. This one was the perfect size to share as a small, and I would definitely buy again when they need a quick go-to when I’m off at a wedding.
Hoping to work a few of these into Friendsgiving coming up in a few weeks!
P.S. Trader Joes… What’s a mom gotta do to get sponsored around here!?
Cheers,
E
