2 Months To Go: Postpartum Must Haves

We are officially two months out from baby 3.0! And truthfully I am so far behind getting prepped for this babe's arrival, but I finally started prepping for my postpartum comfort this time around.

My pregnancies and deliveries have not been smooth sailing for C and H, so we are really hoping for a smooth, scheduled c-section this time around. In fact, I will be finding out in the next week what our scheduled date will be. Obviously every woman needs different postpartum care, but for me its about comfort and not overdoing it on too many gadgets and items.

Due to c-section recovery, I will be spending a bit of time in bed post birth while I heal and recover and soak up all the baby snuggles. So comfort is key. I usually buy 2-3 pajama sets for in hospital and postpartum to basically live in (getting dressed isn't a thing for a solid few weeks). My three picks are this cozy set, this nightgown and this nursing top. I also could see myself using the top as I start to get back on to my Peloton - I can't wait!

Fed is best! But I am hoping to breastfeed for at least 6 months for baby 3.0. My favorite pillow that I have used for both of my babes before is a breastfeeding essential for me. I have tried the larger wrap around options and prefer this small nugget for easy of using in any location or scenario. And for pumping, I am so excited to be getting the Spectra cordless, rechargeable pump for when I need to pump on the job. I have tried every pump under the sun and the Spectra works best for me.

For personal care, I trust my client and friends at Lansinoh and will be getting a few boxes of the hot / cold therapy packs and the soothies gel pads. In fact the gel pads are my all time favorite recovery / breastfeeding item!!

Would love to hear more about what items others find comfortable for postpartum recovery!

Cheers!
