Crazy about Cookbooks

If you have been around here for any amount of time, you know how much I LOVE to cook! Naturally, cooking calls for a recipe and recipes call for a cookbook, so I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorites. I think cookbooks are a phenomenal way to weekly meal plan and to get inspiration and go a bit rogue with your own recipe variations.

So, let’s talk about my favorites…

My family and I love the Ground Turkey Sweet Potato Skillet from Just Feed Me by Jessie James Decker. Not only is it pretty healthy, but it is the easiest dish to whip up on a busy weeknight!

Kristen Cavallari is chef goals and her Butternut Squash Gnocchi from True Comfort is phenomenal It truly is the recipe I recommend most from the book, though all the recipes are great and I am still working my way through it.

Chrissy Tiegen’s Cravings is one of the all time best cookbooks IMO and the Sesame Chicken Noodles are nothing short of incredible!

Jillian Harris is my inspiration for just about everything so naturally, her cookbook is on my list of favorites… especially the Mushroom Kale Toasts! Fraiche Food - Full Hearts has a great mix of breakfasts, soups, salads, veggies, sides, and mains to snacks, appetizers, drinks, and desserts--for everyday meals, along with celebration menus and ideas for casual gatherings which I love. Jillian also shares lots of heart-warming stories about the recipes and the origins which I think is very special.

Happy cooking! Tag me in whatever you make!
