Chocolate peppermint CRACKers.

I emphasize the crack in crack (not that I condone drug use but if this was a drug I’d be hooked). Major props to my associate Kristen on this one since this is her recipe only I added the seasons key ingredient - peppermint!

  • 1 sleeve club crackers

  • 1 stick of butter

  • 1 bag semi sweet chocolate chips

  • Handful of peppermint kisses (or candy canes) - crushed

  1. Lay club crackers flat on baking sheet

  2. Use 3/4 or full stick of butter depending on size of baking sheet

  3. Melt butter and 1 1/2 - 2 cups of sugar in pot

  4. Pour melted butter and sugar over crackers

  5. Pour 3/4 - full bag of semi sweet chocolate chips on top

  6. Melt in over at 200 degrees for 3-5 minutes

  7. Use a spatula to spread melted chocolate chips over all crackers

  8. Spring kisses or candy canes over top

  9. Freeze for 1 hour or over night

  10. Keep refrigerated
