Wedding Paper Trends- How To Flex on a Budget
While many couples opt out of custom paper goods (i.e. invites and menus) for the sake of budgeting, there are still so many ways to spice up the invitation suite with a predetermined template. Not only can the paper goods be a fun project for the couple, but it is also so fun for your ECC styling team to get in on the creativity. We absolutely love styling paper goods as a way to flex our creativity muscles before the storm of the wedding day.
Whether you are saving with a predetermined template, or going all out with a custom one, here are some of our favorite fun ideas to consider for your invitation suite:
Dried florals. Whether your suite is neutral and elegant, or vibrant and fun, dried florals add timeless beauty to just about anything. We love when we see them added as little special details- like inside the wax seal on your invitation suite. Although they are delicate, they are easy to DIY and are a great way to add timelessness into your invitation suite.
Rounded shapes. Although it may seem silly, switching up the shape of your invitation suite can add so much pizazz and personality! Whether you opt for a square bottom and dome shaped top, or an even funkier rounded shape- playing with the shape of your invitation suite adds fun and interest. If this isn’t screaming whimsical wonderland- than I don’t know what does. These colors are so airy and delicate, but still bring so much playful fun to this suite. The tones go perfectly together, which allowed for the colors to be mixing without clashing.
This handwritten calligraphy and hand drawn dog adds such a timeless family feel to this invitation. It’s so elegant and beautiful- yet still intimate and personal from the couple. And how cute is it to include the pup!
