Well here we go again… Another sober summer… And another season for mixing up a mean cocktail instead of a margarita. The last time around I was able to work with Lupo Verde on their recommendations for some yummy cocktails and this time I’m giving you a few EC Specials. Full disclosure when I am pregnant I actually don’t even crave alcohol very much and don’t even usually need a cocktail unless I am at the beach or an event with friends. 


So this summer I have four options, starting with my go-to Cherry Cranberry and then my three new options! 


Cherry Cranberry 

  • 4 oz. Soda water 
  • 2 oz. Cranberry juice 
  • 2 oz. grenadine 
  • Garnish with maraschino cherries and a lime wedge 

Grapefruit Orange

  • 3 oz. soda water
  • 3 oz. freshly squeezed grapefruit juice 
  • 1 oz. freshly squeezed orange juice 
  • Freshly squeezed lime to taste 
  • Garnish with a grapefruit wedge

Hibiscus Lim

  • 3 oz. soda water 
  • 3. Oz Trader Joe’s Hibiscus Agua Fresca 
  • 2 oz. fresh lime juice
  • Garnish with lime wedge

Strawberry lime

  • 3 oz. soda water 
  • 3 oz. Trader Joe’s Strawberry Lime Agua Fresca 
  • 1 oz. Fresh muttled strawberries 
  • Garnish with lime wedge or fresh strawberries 

Pour all ingredients over ice-filled tall glass and enjoy!
