Chocolate peppermint CRACKers.
I emphasize the crack in crack (not that I condone drug use but if this was a drug I’d be hooked). Major props to my associate Kristen on this one since this is her recipe only I added the seasons key ingredient - peppermint!
1 sleeve club crackers
1 stick of butter
1 bag semi sweet chocolate chips
Handful of peppermint kisses (or candy canes) - crushed
Lay club crackers flat on baking sheet
Use 3/4 or full stick of butter depending on size of baking sheet
Melt butter and 1 1/2 - 2 cups of sugar in pot
Pour melted butter and sugar over crackers
Pour 3/4 - full bag of semi sweet chocolate chips on top
Melt in over at 200 degrees for 3-5 minutes
Use a spatula to spread melted chocolate chips over all crackers
Spring kisses or candy canes over top
Freeze for 1 hour or over night
